Facilities Use & Rental
Community Use of School Facilities
Instructions for reserving and renting facilities

Step 1:  Complete the Application for Community Use of School Facilities. Please call our office at 509-344-1064
with any questions about our facilities and/or availability. 

Step 2: 
Complete the Hold Harmless Agreement, Team Roster (student, address, school)and Head Injury Compliance Form (if applicable). 

Step 3:  Submit your Application, Hold Harmless Agreement, Team Roster, and Head Injury Compliance Form (if applicable) by email or fax to: Shanda Gorder, Assistant Secretary: Maintenance & Technology at           shanda.gorder@wvsd.org, or by fax: 509-232-7615. Insurance does not need to be submitted until your                 application has been approved. 

Step 4:  Your Application will be reviewed to ensure the dates you have requested are available and the facility is able to accommodate your event. If the dates you requested are not available, we will contact you to offer alternative dates and/or use of another facility.
 
Step 5:  Once your Application is approved, we will provide you with a signed copy and an estimate of the Hourly Facility Rental Rates you will be charged. Please keep this documentation with you while using the facility. 

Step 6:
  Submit your Proof of Insurance. Insurance Requirements: Certificate of insurance listing West Valley School District as Certificate Holder that provides proof of insurance under an accident and liability policy issued by an insurance company authorized to do business in Washington State covering and injury or damage with at least $50,000 due to bodily injury or death of one person and at least $100,000 due to bodily injury or death to two or more persons.

Step 7:  An invoice will be sent to the responsible party at the conclusion of the event.
 
Note:  School programs will be considered above any extra-curricular activities in the West Valley facilities.
